Attempted murder suspect netted
Communications officer takes down woman's attacker.
A MAN wanted for attempted murder was arrested on Friday, 4 September by Montclair SAPS’ communications officer, Warrant Officer Poobalan Marimuthu.
After being told someone fitting the description of the wanted man was seen walking along Kenyon Howden Road, W/O Marimuthu headed to the street. When he searched the man, he found a knife in his jacket pocket.
The woman who was assaulted in her home in 2014 was able to positively identify the man as her attacker. He was arrested for house robbery and attempted murder.
Montclair SAPS management commends W/O Marimuthu for his speedy response and arrest.
