FOLLOWING the arrest of a man for theft, Montclair SAPS has recovered four car rims and needs the owner to claim them.
On Thursday, 20 August Montclair SAPS crime prevention members, Warrant Officers RG Smolas and Priscilla Ellappen arrested a man for theft.
After a member of the public also identified the man as being responsible for the theft of his car’s tyres and rims, the officers went to search the alleged thief’s home. They found the missing tyres and rims, along with four 17 inch rims.
“If anyone had their rims stolen, go to the police station during office hours to identify them,” said communications officer, W/O Poobalan Marimuthu.
