Get involved in crime fight

Help police by reporting crimes.

BRIGHTON Beach SAPS urges residents to get involved in fighting crime, by reporting suspicious people or activities.

A campaign in which brochures were handed out to local people in early August was hosted by Captain Louise Le Roux and Reservist Carmen Jenkins.

Speaking about the campaign, Brighton Beach SAPS communications officer, Capt Le Roux encouraged those in the Brighton Beach SAPS policing area to report those with criminal intentions and said the police rely on the community’s support in the fight against crime. Tips can be given anonymously by SMS on 32211, phone on 08600-10111 or online at www.crimeline.co.za.

Brighton Beach SAPS management thanks Bluff Towers and Hillside Mall tenants and management for allowing them to host the public awareness campaign and Capt Le Roux and Reservist Jenkins for their active participation.
