Stolen vehicle found abandoned

The public must be vigilant and report a motor vehicle that is suspicious to the police immediately

REPORT suspicious vehicles immediately, urges Montclair SAPS after an increased number of stolen vehicles make their way into the area.

“Motor vehicles are being stolen and or hijacked in other areas and are being left abandoned in the streets of the Montclair patrol area,” said communications officer, W/O Poobalan Marimuthu.

On Thursday, 18 June, one such vehicle was recovered by the provincial task team and a tracking company. The VW Polo had been hijacked in Phoenix and was abandoned in Robin Hood Road.

“The public must be vigilant and report a motor vehicle that is suspicious to the police immediately, along with the colour, make and registration number,” added W/O Marimuthu.
