WBS nominated pairs, trips get underway this weekend

The first 60/40 board went to Graham Bransby and Alex Fisher and the second board was taken by again Graham Bransby and the lucky woman Ina Davies.

WENTWORTH Bowling Club had quiet week with the following results:

In the BMS men’s pensioners played on Friday, 15 May, first prize went to Jumbo Nel, Joe McNamara and Eric Miller with +16, while second prize was won by Graham Bransby, Ken Koch and Brian Smith with +8.

Keith Wild, Dave McCann and Dave Lavis went home with the sportsman prize. Lucky woman Ina Davies won the pork and John Somerville won the beef. The first 60/40 board went to Graham Bransby and Alex Fisher and the second board was taken by again Graham Bransby and the lucky woman Ina Davies.

On the perch are Jumbo Nel, Joe McNamara and Eric Miller.

Club nominated pairs starts on Saturday, 23 May. All members who entered must be there at 1pm. Club nominated trips starts on Sunday, 24 May and members must be there at 8.30am to start at 9am.
