Woman robbed of car, R30,000

“The men told me they were working and when I asked them where, the one pulled out a gun.”

A WOMAN was hijacked in Doddington Crescent, Montclair on Friday, 20 March.

At about 4.45pm, Nelly Shange was parked outside her home when she noticed two men walk past her home.
“The men told me they were working and when I asked them where, the one pulled out a gun,” she said. The men fled in Shange’s Toyota Etios, taking her music speakers and R30,000 in cash left in the car along with them. “It happened so fast, I don’t even remember them driving away in my car,” she said.

Police recovered Shange’s car at about 9pm at M-section, Umlazi on Friday. “I would like to thank Montclair SAP for the quick recovery of my car and Montclair victim support centre for the trauma counselling I received,” said Shange.
