Parkrun holds collections for Crow

Some 3,000 animals are helped by Crow every year.

ALL Durban-based parkruns will hold a collection to assist the Yellowwood Park-based Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife (Crow) feed its wildlife patients.

Crow is KwaZulu-Natal’s only registered wildlife rehabilitation centre dedicated to rescue, rehabilitation and release of all indigenous wildlife found in KZN. Some 3,000 animals are helped by Crow every year. Collections will be taken at Amanzimtoti parkrun in Beach Road, Toti on Saturday, 4 April. Collections will also take place at North Beach, Shongweni and Umhlanga.

Items you can take for collection are: Old newspaper/shredded paper, ice cream containers, yoghurt containers, cotton wool, fruit and vegetables flavours of pureed baby food, dog food (tins and pellets) Royal Canin kitty milk, Lactogen milk formula (number one and two) and Nespray milk formula.
