Mrs SA finalist a woman with vision

FORMER Bluffite, Candice Abrahams is one of the top 100 finalists vying for the title of Mrs South Africa 2015 and she needs help to get there.

The 32-year-old mother of Samia, aged nine and Taai, aged five, recently moved to Johannesburg, but lived on the Bluff for about 20 years and went to school in Wentworth. It was announced on Wednesday, 4 March that she was one of the 100 semi-finalists in the pageant.

Abrahams is a full time model at Boss Models and has won more than 16 titles, including Miss East Coast Radio, Miss Jam Alley, Miss Organics Beautiful Hair and she made it to the top 16 of the Miss South Africa pageant in 2001.

“I believe I have all the qualities needed to own the Mrs South Africa title – I am a loving wife (to husband, Ismail) and mother; I’m determined and passionate in all I do and I am humble and approachable.

“I believe the Mrs South Africa title will allow me to harness my unique strengths in my community and nationally. My project is empowering, encouraging and enhancing young girls, guiding and supporting them into becoming strong successful woman because girls with dreams become women with vision,” she said.

The top 25 contenders will be announced at a gala at Emperor’s Palace on Friday, 24 April. SMS Candice Abrahams to 35959 to help her earn a spot in the top 25 or ‘like’ the Mrs South Africa Facebook page and ‘like’ Abraham’s photo. SMSs are charged at R3 each.
