Antiques roadshow comes to Bluff

The meeting is at the Assegai Hall on the corner of Brighton and Assembly roads.

THE Women’s Friendship Guild is holding an antiques roadshow” on Thursday, 19 March.

Sheila Astill and Pam Harvey will appraise the articles and tell everyone something about them.

Both women are well known for their knowledge on antiques and their value. It promises to be an interesting morning.

Anyone who wants to attend is welcome. It will cost visitors R5 at the door and to submit an article for appraisal costs R5 per article. Items being submitted for appraisal include pottery, silverware, antique dolls and chinaware.

If you intend to take an article along for appraisal, notify Margaret beforehand so they have some idea of numbers.

The meeting is at the Assegai Hall on the corner of Brighton and Assembly roads. It starts at 9.30am. Anyone is welcome.
