Participate in Crow-aiding Zombie run – if you dare

There will also be a market and food on sale from 2pm onwards.

STAFF from a Hillcrest-based marketing agency, urge other businesses and the public in the Upper Highway area to join them in supporting the 2015 ‘My Bloody Valentine’ Zombie Run in aid of the Centre for Rehabilitation for Wildlife (Crow).

This unique, fun-filled Valentine’s Day event, which is organised by Zombie Run SA takes place at 6pm on Saturday, 14 February at Giba Gorge MTB Park. You can enter the 5km fun run as a runner, or dress up as a zombie and chase down the runners along the route. The entrance fee is R150 per person and all proceeds raised are being donated to wildlife rehab centre, Crow. There will also be a market and food on sale from 2pm onwards.
Speaking of her company’s support for this event, Janet Hancock explained “Rubio Communications has been proudly supporting Crow’s work for the past three years. When we heard about this year’s Zombie Run, we all signed up immediately as it’s another great way we can help raise vital funds for the organisation’s fantastic work in saving KZN’s stricken wildlife.We challenge other businesses in the area to join our team of zombies, have a great time and all for a great cause.”
