New faces join rugby club

It's our aim to make Harlequins the best supported club in KZN.

THE 2015 pre-rugby season is entering its fourth week and the Harlequins Rugby Club’s boys are giving it their all at training.

It’s encouraging to see the new faces still joining and we look forward to their contribution this season.

The Sharks open day saw many supporters joining their provincial heroes on a fun-filled day. Some personal messages to the Quins players from ex-Harlequins players can be viewed on our Facebook page. Special thanks to Renaldo Bothma, Sbura Sithole and Jaco van Tonder for their messages of encouragement.

The Warriors 7’s tournament will take place on Saturday, 7 February. Quins will send two teams to Uvongo to compete and will be looking at retaining the trophy they won last season.

The very popular Ronnie van Rooyen Memorial Rugby Day will be held on Saturday, 14 March. It’s a must see for any club rugby fan and this year will be no different. More details about this great event in the coming weeks.

For more information on rugby training, contact head coach, Mark Cameron on 082-876-0418 or email durbanharlequins@gmail.com.
