Support needed for monthly clean-up

EDITOR – We are trying to garner support from the caring public to assist with clean-up operations on a monthly basis along Wilson’s Wharf.

For like-minded individuals who are interested in keeping our environment free from pollution, all that is needed are gloves, gumboots, black plastic bags, a hat and lots of enthusiasm. The only reward is a clean, litter-free wharf when the tide is out, and knowing that you have done your best to protect the resident seabird population from being caught up in loads of debris.

Who knows, you may even be the owner of false teeth found in the oily mud last Sunday.
