Drum Day raises over R10,000 for Monkey Helpline

Monkey Helpline would like to thank every person involved in the event.

DURBAN Drum Day, an event organised to raise funds for Monkey Helpline which rescues vervet monkeys, raised over R10,000 on Saturday, 10 January.

“So many people turned up, cars were parked all the way down the road. Musketeers was jam-packed with over 400 people coming to support Monkey Helpline and enjoy the drumming for monkeys fundraising event organised by Grant Halliday,” said Monkey Helpline logistics Logistics and Projects manager Ellysa-marie Entwistle
“It was a perfect evening enjoyed by all and so nice to see so many people having fun while enjoying the drumming show. Thanks to the drumming community for coming together and answering Grant Halliday’s call for help to support Monkey Helpline.”

Monkey Helpline would like to thank every person involved in the event.
Over R10, 000 was raised which will go towards building a monkey rehabilitation centre at Thula Thula Game reserve.
