Course needs feet, not criticism

The Bluff needs feet on the course and membership - not criticism.

EDITOR – In response to various articles and letters in the Southlands Sun of late I would like to respond as follows.

As a newly relocated ( ex-Port Elizabeth ) Bluff resident and new member of the Bluff Golf Course, I’m astounded to hear and read all the negativity that’s associated with the course and the Bluff in general.

Although the club is not out of the woods yet financially, the course itself has undergone a complete transformation since the first time I played the Bluff in June 2014. This has all been made possible due to the dedication and hard work the club captain, Morne Pretorius and his committee, the office and ground staff have put in under trying circumstances.

So to all our ex-members who have gone to other clubs, I invite you to come play the course again before renewing your memberships. You may be pleasantly surprised.

The Bluff needs feet on the course and membership – not criticism.
