Golf day raises R103,000 for Crow

Some 120 golfers took part in the charity golf day.

THE Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife (Crow) held its annual golf day at Durban Country Club on Wednesday, 29 October with great success.

Some 120 golfers took part in the charity golf day.
“We were extremely pleased to boast a full field of golfers at 120 players. We were also blessed with some of Durban’s finest weather, which saw some of the golfers fetch very healthy scores. Thanks to all our generous hole sponsors and prize sponsors. We collected over R103,000 and also ensured the top 10 placing teams were spoilt with prizes. We also had a couple of booby prizes and held our ‘spot the birdie’ competition where we hid a couple of pictures of indigenous garden birds around the course that the teams had to guess,” said marketing and communications officer, Paul Hoyte.
The winning team on the day was LGS Transport.
