Toddler drowns in Woodlands

An inquest has been opened at Montclair SAP in connection with the drowning.

A FOUR-year old boy drowned in a murky pool at a home in Radcliffe Road, Woodlands on Sunday, 2 November.
At about 6.15pm the boy’s mother phoned Montclair SAP to say her child was missing.

Police arrived at the home and the mother went to Montclair SAP to report the child missing. A woman at the home showed the police to the swimming pool. At about 6.30pm the boy’s brother and friend arrived and saw sandals in the pool. The two boys jumped in the pool to search for the four-year-old and found his lifeless body.

An inquest has been opened at Montclair SAP in connection with the drowning.
