Beauty queen helps preserve wildlife

Brook Haslam is passionate about the preservation of wildlife and is keen to see the public come together for the welfare of wildlife.

MISS Junior Teen South Africa has come on board in support of the Under An African Sky 2015 calendar which helps fund the Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife (Crow).

Brook Haslam is passionate about the preservation of wildlife and is keen to see the public come together for the welfare of wildlife.

“Animals deserve their full right of survival. As cruelty to animals is on the increase, we need to support animal welfare organisations in helping those wounded animals to have a second chance at life. This is why I have chosen to help out as much as I can towards selling the Under An African Sky calendars, as every cent raised will go towards looking after the wellbeing of our animals,” said Haslam.
As KwaZulu-Natal’s only wildlife rehabilitation centre that is registered to work with all wild animals in distress, Crow assists over 3,000 injured and orphaned animals across KwaZulu-Natal every year.

Under An African Sky has partnered with Crow to create another highly acclaimed, limited edition calendar that will be distributed worldwide in an effort to raise funds for animal welfare. By purchasing one of these exclusive calendars you will be able to help Crow raise funds for the rescue, rehabilitation and release of orphaned and injured wildlife.

The 2015 ‘Born Free’ calendar can be purchased as a wall or desk calendar. The wall calendar includes 12 high-gloss A2 pages of professional wildlife images, presented in an elegant gift box, selling for R170 (excluding postage), while the desk calendar includes the same wildlife images on 12 matt-finish 12 x 14cm pages, presented in a clear dualcase cover, selling for R50 (excluding postage).
