Masked robber targets fuel stations

MONTCLAIR SAP warn all petrol stations owners in Montclair to be vigilant following a spate of armed robberies in the Montclair, Mobeni and Woodlands area.
Police have established two men are involved in the robberies.

Montclair police expect an increase in criminal activities in the lead up to the festive season as well as during the festive season. The station’s festive season operations plan will start on Sunday, 16 November where police will be situated at crime hotspots such as local malls, shopping centres, banks and bus stops. The public are urged be aware of their surroundings when withdrawing money at an ATM, not to leave valuables in their vehicles and ensure vehicles are locked correctly.

Home-owners are urged to contact security providers to inform them should they be going away on holiday or to get house-sitters while they are away.
