Security should patrol mall parking area
Those vehicles should be delivering/collecting cash from a rear exit of the bank, away from the public and all other deliveries should equally be done at the back of Pick n Pay and not the front.
EDITOR – With reference to the total lack of control re parking at Pick n Pay, it has been a source of huge annoyance to me and, I am sure, others who regularly park there.
Why should legal parkers drive around and wait for a vacant space while others simply stop at the stop street to drop/wait for family members, park outside the hardware and bank on the red lines or worst case, park in the parking allocated to paraplegics?
Until security from the centre conducts regular patrols, this is going to continue as it has so far. A far bigger and more serious occurrence is the parking of the ‘money’ truck outside the bank with heavily armed guards everywhere – exactly where we, the public, are entering the bank and doing our transactions. That is a disaster waiting to happen.
