Police recovered a hijacked Polo Vivo which had been taken in Isleworth Avenue, Woodlands.

On Thursday, 4 September at about 6pm, Sandile Mfusi stopped in the driveway of his friend’s house when three men approached his vehicle. One of the men held Mfusi at gunpoint and shouted for him to get out of the vehicle. The man hit Mfusi when he refused to give up his cellphone. The men fled the scene with the Polo, two cellphones and a laptop.
“I was more angry about the incident than shocked. I’ve been involved in a situation with guns before. I was upset that they stole my car because I’ve worked hard for it,” said Mfusi. The vehicle was recovered in Umlazi on Thursday. Mfusi thanks Montclair SAPS for their service and assistance.
