Bluff talent search unearths top 10 finalists

The first prize winner will pocket R15,000, second place R10,000 and third spot will walk away with R5,000.

THE BT Factor 2.0 talent competition sizzled on Saturday, 16 August, as the top 20 semi-finalists battled it out for a spot in the finals.

With R30,000 cash prizes up for grabs, contestants of all ages gave it their best shot.

Some danced, sang and rapped, in an attempt to be claim a coveted spot in the finals on Saturday, 30 August at Bluff Towers.

Even though the competition is in its second year, it has grown in leaps and bounds. Nikki Yates of Bluff Towers said: “The competition was very successful last year so we decided to do it again this year. I am very excited to be a part of it. The competition is going well. The reason we decided to do it again is because Bluff is a tight community, and this way we’re getting children to come and participate. Instead of doing something naughty during the day, they can come and showcase their talent.”

The top 10 contestants are Monique Nel, Larry Smith, Lathasha Webster, # Twerk Once DC, K-Sole, Powerhouse, Dream Catchers, Jayson Makhosi, Thobani Ndlovu and Cameron van Wyk.

Give your favorite an even better chance of winning by ‘liking’ their picture on the Bluff Towers Facebook page. The five contestants with the most ‘likes’ will go into the finals with an added advantage.
