A YELLOWWOOD Park woman was rushed to hospital when three men attacked her in her Kestrel Crescent home on Wednesday, 30 July.
The men, armed with a bushknife, axe and knife, forced their way into the home at about 8.30am. While two of the men looted the house, one of them guarded the woman in the laundry. He hit her on the forehead with the back of the bushknife and even attempted to slit her throat. While defending herself, she sustained a cut on her hand, when she tried to grab hold of the knife.
The brazen burglars made of with a laptop, I-Pad, a cellphone and R10,000 cash.
