Child goes missing in custody tussle

A Bluff child has gone missing.

A BRIGHTON Beach woman has been left frantic after the father of her child failed to return the two-year-old home after a holiday.

Brighton Beach police have launched an urgent appeal to the public for information on the whereabouts of two-year-old Jayden Jeffrey Hudson from Brighton Beach on the Bluff, who went on holiday with his father, Mark Christopher Hudson (31) earlier this month. Hudson has since broken all forms of communication with Jayden’s mother and disappeared with his son.

It is believed they are in the West Rand or Gauteng. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jayden or his father is urged to contact Warrant Officer Marius Van Der Looy on 079-394-1483.

Jayden has short light brown hair, which was recently cut short. He has a light complexion, with dimples in his cheeks, green-brown eyes, a narrow nose and forehead and protruding ears. He is about a metre tall and weighs 15kg. He was last seen in a striped blue sweater with dark tracksuit pants.

Mark has short black-grey straight hair, a light complexion and green eyes. He has a tribal tattoo on his left and right shoulder and a tattoo of the word ‘Jayden’ on his right forearm.
