The winner's school stands to pocket R100,000 worth of technology.

SOUTH African children, between the ages of 6 and 17 have been given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to create a custom country doodle for Google’s home page.

The theme for the competition is ‘South Africa of My Dreams’. It’s the first time the competition has come to SA’s shores.
Winners score big, earning themselves an android tablet, a R500 Google Play voucher and R100,000 worth of technology for their school. Tablets and Google goodie bags will also be handed out to artists who make it to different stages.

Yvonne Chaka Chaka and DJ Fresh along with CEO of Brand South Africa, Miller Matola will select the best work in the different categories. Members of the public will choose the category winners and Google will choose the overall winners.
Competition closes on Wednesday, 22 October.
