Woman (22) dies after truck crash
Police are investigating the cause of the collision.
A 22-YEAR-old woman died in hospital after a truck collided with her vehicle on the M4 north bound carriageway near Clairwood Wednesday, 18 June.
The vehicle rolled several times, ejecting her from the car.
Rescue Care operations director, Garrith Jamieson said: “The critically injured driver was lying in the fast lane of the freeway. Advanced life support intervention was needed and she was placed on a manual ventilator. Once she was stabilised, she was rushed to St Augustine’s Hospital.”
Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries later that night. Police are investigating the cause of the collision.
