Suspect Corolla is criminals getaway car
Three men hijack and rob Woodlands resident.
Montclair SAP has issued a warning to residents within their policing area to be on the look out for a white Corolla which is being used as a getaway vehicle by criminals.
The Corolla was at the scene of a hijacking and robbery in Verity Road, Woodlands on Wednesday, 9 April, where a man who was on his way to work was approached by a gun wielding man demanding his jewellery. The man handed over his belongings and was forced out of his VW Polo.
A second man came out of the shadows and sat in the driver’s seat while the first assailant made his way to the Corolla, which was parked near the house. The two men in the Corolla and the third in the stolen vehicle fled in convoy. The three men have not yet been arrested.
