Applications for special voters

Overseas voters may apply to vote.

Registered voters who are unable to visit a voting station during the upcoming elections on Wednesday, 7 May can apply for special votes.

Application forms are available at Ward 64 councillor’s office at Tray Bang Hall, 199 Kenyon Howden Road. Ward councillor, Billie Prinsloo has offered to take the forms to the IEC. Special votes apply to the frail or disabled as well as those who will be working as monitors, officials or police officers on the day and are unable to vote at their registered voting station. Forms are required to be accompanied by a copy of an ID book.

Registered voters who will be oversees on the day may also apply to vote. Forms are available at the councillor’s office. Special voting will take place on Monday, 5 May and Tuesday, 6 May.
