Unfortunately the rain postponed the regular Friday’s pensioners bowls. However the meat draw was won by Stan ‘the man’.

This weekend’s bowls on Saturday, 22 February saw the remaining team of Peter Dingley, Rodney Smith and Frank Greyvenstein losing narrowly in the Port Natal trips by two shots. Hard luck guys, we are still proud of you and better luck next year. The monthly Big Jim was played on Sunday, 23 February and overall winners were Gary Moffat and Lila Nel. Well played and congrats. The first session was taken by Clinton Bissett and Deon Maritz, second session went to Noel Morell and Mouse Rattcliff. The 60/40 board draws went to Ina Davies R40 with number 56, the only number left on the board until she took it, and sitting at the same table and drawn by Ina was Vicky Williams’ number 38, which took the second draw of R20. The whisky draw was won by Kitty Schaefer with number 12, the pork was won by Noel Morell with number 37 and the beef went to Dudley Dorrofield with number 27.
