Some 300 children between the ages of 3 and 16 were treated to a day of entertainment, including quad biking, pony rides, face painting and jumping castles. There were arcade games, clowns, circus and magic shows. Each child received a present and had an opportunity to take a picture with Santa Claus.

Lunch was served and many treats were enjoyed, including candy floss and cakes. Goodie bags and hampers were distributed to all the children.

The institute will continue where they left off last year, by assisting with clothing and stationery for underprivileged and destitute children. Daily feeding schemes at two local schools will resume when schools re-open.
