Two couples were robbed of their vehicles at Nagle Square, Alamein Avenue. The hijackings took place within 10 minutes of each other. In the first incident, shots were fired, but no injuries were reported. A third vehicle was hijacked in Delalle Road by two unarmed men. A women was loading cakes in her vehicle when two men stole her keys and drove off in her vehicle.
Two of the vehicles were recovered in Umlazi while the third, which was not fitted with a tracking unit, is still missing. Montclair SAP urges the public to not resist when being approached by criminals, as this can result in the loss of life
