DBAA and Sodurba meeting to clarify CTO’s role
LOCAL central tourism office (CTO), Sodurba invites all hospitality establishments in the South Durban Basin (SDB) to a meeting on Thursday, 31 October to discuss the purpose of the CTO and the Durban Bluff Accommodation Association (DBAA).
Sodurba represents the interests of tourism stakeholders in SDB and the DBAA has been recognised by Sodurba as the forum representing and protecting the interests of Bluff hospitality industry.
“It can’t be emphasised enough how essential it is for the DBAA to have solid membership. As stakeholders in hospitality on the Bluff we must become pro-active and have strong representation to protect business interests,” said DBAA secretary, Jane Hawksworth.
The meeting will be held at Harlequins Sports Club in Garcin Place at 11am and people interested in attending must RSVP via secretary@dbaa.co.za by 28 October.
