Bread clip project to benefit disabled
Collection of bread clips to purchase wheelchairs
AS part of a recycling project, the Merebank Sai Centre has embarked on a massive drive to collect bread clips from the community, schools, churches, take-aways, restaurants, hotels and so on.
The centre hopes all will join hands in aid of this project to collect bread clips to obtain a wheelchair.
As a part of its services to the community, the centre loans walking frames and wheelchairs to the handicapped free of charge.
Co-ordinators are readily available to collect the bread clips or arrange for drop-offs. Contact Lallie Moodley on 031-462-1538 or Romy Ramnath on 031-468-8566 for more information.
Drop off points are 17 Punjab Circle, Merebank (BP garage); Sai Prema Ashram in Bayview at the bookshop and Sudha Mandir, Unit 9 Chatsworth book shop.
