We don’t need the empathy emails we need someone to take action.

EDITOR - From one of the biggest sceptics in the neighborhood watch system.

I wholeheartedly agree with the comments that Gavin Hegter has not done much about the crime. My son was robbed twice while walking home from school, my property broken into and my peace disturbed consistently almost every second Saturday by the hired out functions at the bowling club.

All these issues raised to Gavin resulted in an email empathy response (and to take the matter up with Reg Gerber) and a bunch of promises to follow-up with the authorities. He said he was personally going to follow-up with Reg Gerber, which has been fruitless. Another pupil was robbed at the Yellowwood Park/Woodhaven bridge.

Clint has been making some promises to reduce crime in Yellowwood Park and clear some of the bushes, seal some of the escape and entrance routes at the railway line during regular neighbourhood patrols in Yellowwood Park – all actioned to which I have witnessed.

Something to think about, Clint we need someone in the position in which Gavin is sitting, we don’t need the empathy emails we need someone to take action.
