Library seminar shows where there’s a will, there’s a way

Having a will allows you the right to decide who should inherit your assets, and ensures your family is provided for

A WILL seminar was held at Bluff’s Grosvenor library on 11 September to educate the community about wills and estates.
Following the free wills week from 17 to 21 September, Hughes Attorney used the opportunity to educate and create awareness surrounding the many questions and concerns regarding wills and estates.
“I wanted my audience to leave this seminar equipped with the knowledge and correct information and hopefully I successfully dispelled any false information they have received from anyone. Through this awareness campaign, I want the communities to get the full benefit of what the law society has to offer,” said Hughes.

In a well-attended presentation hosted by Gillian Hughes, many concerns were addressed about wills and what should or should not be done when drafting one. Having a will allows you the right to decide who should inherit your assets, and ensures your family is provided for in terms of your last wishes.

Grosvenor library’s Somikazi Bonani thanked Hughes Attorneys for hosting and felt it was a great opportunity for the community to gain knowledge. She encouraged the community to use the GA room where the seminar was held for any free presentations and programmes. “Just as Hughes Attorney used this room to educate, other organisations can do the same.
