‘Women are Love’ takes to Mowat Park stage

The writers, directors, and performers are all local .

In an attempt to boost community interest in live theatre and to promote ongoing awareness of women’s issues, Mowat Park High School will host an evening performance of A Trilogy: Women are Love at the school on Tuesday and Wednesday, 26 and 27 September.
The performance includes two short plays, Love Hurts and Gogo, written by teacher RJ Herd and The Kamajor, a play written and directed by Sibisiso Ngcobo of Jazzman Productions and an ex-pupil of Clairwood Secondary.

The writer s, directors, and performers are all local and showcase the talent in the community through the medium of dance, drama, and music. Women are Love promises an evening of thought-provoking and light-hearted entertainment.

Two evening productions on Tuesday and Wednesday, 26 and 27 September will be performed at a cost of R50 a ticket. The show starts at 6pm. For bookings contact Jabu on 031-46- 0425 or email secretary@mowat.co.za. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
