BLUFF residents are urged to stay away from Hillside Mall following a bomb scare at Virgin Active gym.
A close source who chose not to be named said the gym manager received a call around 12.30pm claiming that there is a bomb being placed at the club.
The gym and the mall were evacuated.
Ward 66 councilor JP Prinsloo said it is frightening to hear such news and urges residents to stay clear of the area until the police have cleared the package. “We have to think of each other’s safety at the moment,” he said.
The police were immediately contacted and are currently at the scene.
