Norman’s trio claim men’s bowls trips final honours
On Sunday, 25 February the club will host the pairs shirts and skirts breakfast.

THE start of the round robin women’s singles at Woodlands Bowling Club was played on Saturday in windy but very hot conditions between Rina Harper and Linda Hewer, with Rina winning 21-16.
The semi final men’s trips was also played between Tom Cloete, Bill Hewer and David Lloyd versus Norman Moore, Eric Coetzee and Gavin Conlon. Norman and his team won 21-15.
On Sunday afternoon also in very strong windy and hot conditions, the men’s trips final was played between Harold Dix, Andy Cloete and Jason Hewer versus Norman Moore, Eric Coetzee and Gavin Conlon, with Norman and his team the champions with a score of 23-13.
On Sunday, 25 February the club will host the pairs shirts and skirts breakfast. To enter a team, call Rina Harper on 031-466-3820. Dates to remember are Thursday, 1 March for the casual fours breakfast and Wednesday, 7 March for the any pairs competitions.
