Clairwood shopkeeper robbed by armed thieves

The shopkeeper was standing outside his store when two men approached him.

A SOUTH Coast Road business owner was robbed by two men on on Wednesday, 7 February.

The shopkeeper was standing outside his store when two men approached him.

One went into the shop and enquired about the price of a cold drink, while the other man stood outside. The man standing outside produced a firearm and held the owner at gunpoint while the thief inside jumped over the counter and removed all the cash from the till.

The suspects can be identified. A firearm and a knife were used in the robbery but the shopkeeper was unharmed.
