Discover Uganda at next Durban BotSoc meeting

It will be held on Monday, 19 February at 5.30pm for 6pm at the Durban Botanic Gardens

TAKE a journey of discovery at the next Botanical Society of South Africa KZN coastal branch get-together on Monday, 19 February at 5.30pm for 6pm at the Botanic Gardens’ visitors centre in John Zikhali (formerly Sydenham) Road.

The society presents an illustrated presentation by Jocelyn Sutherland entitled ‘Uganda – Pearl of Africa: Trekking with gorillas and chimpanzees’.

Uganda is where conservation and primates reign supreme, so join Jocelyn Sutherland and Jill Seldon as they discuss the lush Kibale and Bwindi forests, Bigodi swamp and Queen Elizabeth Park.

All are welcome and the entrance fees include tea. BotSoc members pay R30, non-members R40 and students R20. Proceeds go to branch projects. There is no need to book. Direct enquiries via email to botsoc-kzn@mweb.co.za or call 031-201-5111 or 071-869-3693.
