Why you shouldn’t eat bread

Do you know what you are putting into your body when you eat white processed bread?

It’s a staple food item in the household, we use it for sandwiches, to soak up the curry gravy or enjoy it toasted. Bread is something many people can’t live without.

But do you know what you are putting into your body?

No goodness: bread, especially white bread and items made from it lack nutrients. You’re not getting any fibre.

Too salty: Most bread, especially processed bread is high in sodium and by eating less of it will significantly reduce the amount of sodium in your body.

Weight gainer: because of all the carbs, salt, refined sugar and preservatives that it contains, bread will make you put on weight. Have it in moderation.

So stay away from processed white bread and try healthier versions that have wholewheat and grains.
