Doug, Natalie snaffle Woodlands any pairs win

WHAT a busy week at Woodlands Bowling Club with the club hosting the pensioners league on Tuesday before Wednesday’s any pairs competition took place.
Bob Hayward and Jumbo Nel won the second session and Doug Porter and Natalie Botha were the overall winners.
Gloria Rice won the meat raffle sponsored by Yellowwood Park Spar and Doug Porter won the R40, with Dawn Spack snapping up the R20 money board.
On Thursday, the casual fours breakfast got underway. Overall winners were Joan Bruce, Derek Stevens, Jumbo Nel and Lynn Carlyle and second session winners were Chris Pozyn, Debbie and Michelle Nortje and Bob Hayward.
Dawn Spack and Dave Arnold grabbed the R40 money board with Robin de Gouveia and Mariette de Kock snagging the R20. The meat raffle went to Gwen Tait which was sponsored by CS Solutions. Thanks also to Gwen Tait for donating the bacon for breakfast.
