Teachers, scholars clean up after storm

A clean-up was organised in order to get it ready and clean for the re-opening this week.

MOWAT PARK pupils took the time to help teachers and workers to help clean their school after it was left in tatters by the raging storm that tore through South Durban on Tuesday, 10 October.
A clean-up was organised by the teachers to clear most of the sand and fallen trees inside the school premises in order to get it ready and clean for the re-opening this week.

With final exams coming up, the pupils and teachers worked tirelessly together to achieve their goal and showed that pride and love for one’s school can go far. The damage to the school will be costly as most of the damages were to the roof of the building and ceilings to some of the classrooms. “But this will not stop us from continuing our learning,” said one pupil.
