Overnight rain floods South Durban road

MOTORISTS and pedestrians are cautioned to take extra precaution while out and about today, as the much-needed overnight rain has caused some roads to flood.
According to weather reports, 17.4mm of rain has fallen on the Bluff and 20.6mm in Wentworth, as at 10am today

South Coast Road, Mobeni is reportedly flooded and motorists are urged to exercise caution while travelling through the water-logged roads.

Traffic is slow-moving as motorists try to make their way through the water-logged roads of South Durban on Thursday morning, 28 September.

Durban is likely to experience rain the whole day, with a low of 17°C and a high of 19°C predicted, with humidity at 85%. The wet weather will continue on Friday and Saturday, and is predicted to dry up by Sunday which should see the city experience a high of 23°C.
