HOW TO: Do your own traditional headwraps

Learn how to tie beautiful, traditional headwraps perfectly

Gigantic bow

Step 1- Gather your hair into a top knot. Place the headwrap at the back of your head, making sure the fabric is lowered to the nape of your neck. Pull ends towards the front.

Step 2- Tie the wrap into a knot at the centre

Step 3- Fold the fabric until it creates an oversized bow

Step 4- Hide the ends of the wrap by tucking them into bow flaps

2. The looped headband

Step 1- Pull your hair locks into a high bun or afro puff. Fold the headwrap in half and place it at the back of your head before pulling the ends towards the front.

Step 2- Tie the headwrap into a double knot at the centre.

Step 3- Tuck the ends of the fabric underneath towards the nape of your neck.

Step 4- Slide the fabric just enough until it has the feel of the headband.

Introducing the stunning bamboo flapper turban:

Pleated layers surround the hat, giving the illusion of fullness. Two flowers artistically adorn the side, reminiscent of the classic flapper style. The bamboo fabric is silky soft and comfortable, breathable, and ideal for any season.
