Sign up to volunteer for WESSA Treasure Beach

No experience is required, and all training is provided.

THE Wildlife and Environmental Society of South Africa (WESSA) Treasure Beach Education Centre is on the lookout for volunteers to assist in environmental education courses.

Visiting groups receive a hands-on experience on various ecosystem studies which includes rocky shores, dune ecology, mangroves, forest and wetland, grassland study, energy and climate change.

Volunteers must have a passion for the environment and love the outdoors; be available on weekdays and occasionally weekends; must be healthy and physically fit.
They must be good with children and have the ability to control large groups of children. This position is perfect for newly retired individuals who want to stay active. No experience is required, and all training is provided.

Those who have reliable transport are encouraged to apply.
