COMMUNITY-driven South Durban residents are urged to step up and join community service delivery action groups (CSDAG).

People in Brighton Beach, Fynnlands, Grosvenor, Ocean View, Treasure Beach and Wentworth are invited to join the groups. Ward 66 councillor, JP Prinsloo made the call on social media to anyone interested in making their “neighbourhood or street a better place to live”.

“CSDAGs are area-based networks set up to promote municipal service delivery, government accountability and neighbourhood planning. The groups will be road based or neighbourhood based and aim to link residents with the councillor’s office with the relevant city structures in order to facilitate better service delivery. We will help to set up your area-based group and provide guidance in order to build stronger, safer, healthier communities that hold government accountable,” he said.
