Potjie fun on the boil at Woodlands

The Friday snowball was once again not won as T K Thiele was not present.

WOODLANDS Sports Club’s potjie competition went off very well with some lovely pots being made by the contestants.

Thanks to Lizzie for the organisation, all the sponsors who made the day possible and to the judges for their participation.

The weather played along with a lovely day and everyone had an enjoyable time. Thanks to all the contestants for their hard work. The live music was enjoyed by everyone. The winning table setting went to Antoinette Ferreira as well as first place for the potjie. Well done Antoinette. Second place went to Tracey and third place went to Kassie, Von and Jackie. Everyone made exceptional pots and the judges said it was a hard decision.

Well done to all who took part and the club hopes to see them all next time.

The club’s meat draw was won by George Moore and second place went to Keith Hughes and third place went to Yvonne Koen.

The Friday snowball went unwon as TK Thiele was not present.

The Saturday lotto stands on R850 and was also once again a carry over.
