Not everyone has caught on with the new hipster fad as social media pages have popped up called wewantplates which encourages Twitter and Facebook users to share their non plate experience. It pretty much sums up what everybody is thinking, as quoted from its website: “We Want Plates crusades against serving food on bits of wood and roof slates, chips in mugs and drinks in jam jars.” The site has over 180,000 followers across Twitter and Facebook.
