Children’s home needs help with homework

Lend your skills.

GIVE your time to a child at St Monica’s Children’s Home on the Bluff and help them grow into confident adults.

“While two of our matriculants passed last year and one of them is pursuing tertiary studies, some of our children did not do very well in school and continue to encounter severe problems academically, especially in maths and science.

This has resulted in the children feeling demotivated and overwhelmed,” said director, Althea Daniels. Anyone with skills in these subjects who is able to give their time to help the children is urged to contact the home.

“All we ask is maybe a maximum of two hours of your time per week to assist our children.”

Call 031-468-8656 to get involved.
