Toxicology report delays Bluff tattoo parlour murder case
The next appearance is in August.
THE trial of the four men who stand accused of the murder of 19-year-old Cody Houghton was postponed to Monday, 7 August.
On the night of 24 February, a group of boys were accused of stealing a phone from a Bluff tattoo parlour.
They were then allegedly tied up, assaulted and forced to drink a concoction believed to contain methadone. Cody died the next day.

Cody’s loved ones and friends and family of the other boys who were harmed that night in the tattoo parlour, gathered in the court room on Friday, 23 June to hear the proceedings – some wearing shirts emblazoned with his image.
The men appeared in the Durban Magistrate’s Court where the case was postponed due to outstanding information, including the toxicology report.
